Dr. Vinay Jathen is a Surgical Oncologist with a surgical experience of 10+ years in the field of cancer surgery.

He has gained significant expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of cancers across various sub-sites during his superspeciality training at the Bombay Hospital and Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Mumbai. He has also worked as a Clinical Associate at the Institute.

He has been trained in Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery procedures (VATS) including uniPortal-VATS and has gained significant expertise in Diagnostic as well as Therapeutic Bronchoscopy during his Fellowship tenure at the prestigious Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai.

Dr Vinay believes in optimizing clinical outcomes in Surgical Oncology through evidence-based practices, dedicated patient care and auxiliary research.

He is currently attached to the Bombay Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Mumbai as a Full-time Consultant and Associate Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology since January 2021.
